Exodus 20
Full Verses 1-17 As they should read
from KJV
With some much need corrections
to them for a much better, and deeper understanding!
1: And
Yehovah spake all these words, saying,
2: I am
Yehovah thy Elohim, who brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of
the house of bondage.
3: Thou
shalt have no other elohim before me.
4: Thou
shalt not make unto thee any graven image, nor any likeness of any
thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that
is in the water under the earth.
5: Thou
shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them, for I Yehovah thy
Elohim am a jealous Elohim, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon
the children, unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me;
6: and
showing lovingkindness unto thousands of them that love me, and keep my
commandments.
7: Thou
shalt not take the name of Yehovah thy Elohim in vain; for Yehovah will
not hold him guiltless that taketh his name in vain.

10: But the
seventh day is a sabbath of Yehovah thy Elohim: in it thou shalt not do
any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy
maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates:
11: For in
six days Yehovah made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them
is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore Yehovah blessed the sabbath
day, and hallowed it.
12: Honor
thy father and thy mother, that thy days may be long upon the land
which Yehovah thy Elohim giveth thee.
13: Thou
shalt not Murder.

shalt not commit adultery.
15: Thou
shalt not steal.
16: Thou
shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbor.
17: Thou
shalt not covet thy neighbor's house, thou shalt not covet thy
neighbor's wife, nor his manservant, nor his maidservant, nor his ox,
nor his ass, nor anything that is thy neighbor's.
The Ten Commandments Summarized into
Two Commandments
It is important to note that what Yeshua says in these verses are not
something new, nor is it about doing away with the Ten Commandments.
Matthew
22:35
Then
one
of
them,
which
was
a lawyer, asked him a question, tempting
him, and saying,
Matthew 22:36 Rabbi, which is the
great commandment in the law?
Matthew 22:37 Yeshua said unto him, Thou shalt love Yehovah thy Elohim with
all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.
Matthew 22:38 This is the first and great commandment.
Mark 12:28 And one of the scribes came, and having heard them reasoning
together, and perceiving that he had answered them well, asked him,
Which is the first commandment of all?
Mark 12:29 And Yeshua answered him, The first of all the commandments is,
Hear, O Israel; Yehovah is our Elohim, Yehovah is one:
Mark 12:30 And thou shalt love
Yehovah thy Elohim with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with
all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment.
Yeshua quoted the Old Conenant from
Deuteronomy 6:4
Hear, O Israel: Yehovah is our Elohim, Yehovah is one:
Deuteronomy 6:5 And thou shalt love Yehovah thy Elohim
with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might.
Yeshua summarized the first four Commandments of how to Love Yehovah
Elohim...
1 Thou
shalt have no other elohim before me.
2. Thou
shalt not make unto thee any graven image, nor any likeness of any
thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that
is in the water under the earth.
3. Thou
shalt not take the name of Yehovah thy Elohim in vain; for Yehovah will
not hold him guiltless that taketh his name in vain.
4. Remember
the Sabbath day, to keep it holy
Matthew
22:39
And the
second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
Matthew 22:40 On these two
commandments hang all the law and the prophets.
Again Yeshua quoted the Old Covenant from
Leviticus
19:18
Thou
shalt
not
avenge,
nor
bear
any grudge against the children of thy
people, but thou
shalt love thy neighbour as thyself: I am Yehovah.
Mark
12:31 And the second is like,
namely this, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. There is none
other commandment greater than these.
Mark 12:32 And the scribe said unto
him, Well, Rabbi, thou hast said the truth: for there is one Elohim;
and there is none other but he:
Mark 12:33 And to love him with all
the heart, and with all the understanding, and with all the soul, and
with all the strength, and to love his neighbour as himself, is more
than all whole burnt offerings and sacrifices.
These
are certainly not new radical ideas that Yeshua just came up with at
the spur of the moment.
How do you love your neighbor as yourself? Just like this...
5. Honor
thy father and thy mother, that thy days may be long in the land which
Yehovah thy Elohim giveth thee.
6. Thou
shalt not Murder.
7. Thou
shalt not commit adultery.
8. Thou
shalt not steal.
9. Thou
shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbor.
10. Thou
shalt not covet thy neighbor's house, thou shalt not covet thy
neighbor's wife, nor his man-servant, nor his maid-servant, nor his ox,
nor his ass, nor anything that is thy neighbor's.
The
last
6
commandments
are
showing
they
are for man to love one another,
and to get along.
Yeshua
did NOT mean that there are now two new Commandments like most
Christians like to teach.
Yeshua
simply
summarized
The
Ten
Commandments
in
hopes that people may
understand what they are for, and what they are all about.
Romans 13:9 For the Commandments,
"You shall not murder," "You shall not steal," "You shall not
bear false witness," You shall not covet," and if there is any other
commandment, are all summed up in this saying, namely, You shall love
your neighbor as yourself.
Romans 13:10 Love does no harm to a
neighbor; therefore love is the fulfillment of the law.
NKJV
Here
it is again all of the Commandments are all sumed up!
1 John 2:4 He that saith, I know him, and
keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.
Yeshua kept the Commandments, and we are to follow after Him,
this being the case why would anyone think that we are not to do the
same?
Matthew 10:38 And he that taketh
not his cross, and followeth after me, is not worthy of me.
1 John 2:6 He that saith he abideth in him ought himself also so to
walk, even as he walked.
The Ten
Commandments
The Ten Commandments expounded, and
broken down verse by verse for a much deeper understanding.
Expounded
What Do They Mean?
1. Thou
shalt have no other elohims before me.
Do not
make or put anything or anyone greater or before Yehovah.
Yehovah
is
first,
and
foremost!
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
2. Thou shalt not make unto thee any
graven image, nor any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or
that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth.
Do not
worship anything or anyone except Yehovah, and you worship Yehovah in
spirit, and in truth.
John 4:24 Yehovah is a Spirit: and they that
worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.
KJV
This
verse shows that we must worship Yehovah in spirit NOT necessarily in a
carnal sense!
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
3. Thou
shalt not take the name of Yehovah thy Elohim in vain; for Yehovah will
not hold him guiltless that taketh his name in vain.
The
name of Elohim/EL./God is "Yehovah" His name is Holy we should not use
his name to lie, and to swear in his name falsely. To lie in his is
name is Blaspheme. That is misuse! We should use his name but, we
cannot give false testimony under his name, or use his name in vain
that is to say worthlessly.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
4. Remember
the Sabbath day, to keep it holy
Please
note that this is the longest commandment!
The Sabbath is a Saturday, and it should still be kept! The Roman
Catholic Church changed the day of worship to prove it's authority!
Unfortunately it was never changed back, because the Churches of today
are afraid of the Biblical Truth. They want to make up every excuse not
to keep the Sabbath such as we are not Jews.
Genesis 2:2 And on the seventh day
Yehovah ended his work which he had made; and he rested on the seventh
day from all his work which he had made.
Genesis 2:3 And Yehovah blessed the
seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it he rested from all
his work which Yehovah created and made.
Yehovah
himself
made
it
has
an
example
for us to follow
Man's
command
Six
days
for
man's
work
Seventh
day
for
man's
rest
Yehovah's
reason
Six
days
for
Yehovah's
work
Seventh
day
for
Yehovah's
rest
Exodus 31:13 Speak thou also unto
the children of Israel, saying, Verily my sabbaths ye shall keep: for
it is a sign between me and you throughout your generations; that ye
may know that I am Yehovah that doth sanctify you.
KJV
Exodus 31:14 Ye shall keep the
sabbath therefore; for it is holy unto you: every one that defileth it
shall surely be put to death; for whosoever doeth any work therein,
that soul shall be cut off from among his people.
KJV
Exodus 31:16 Wherefore the children
of Israel shall keep the sabbath, to observe the sabbath throughout
their generations, for a perpetual covenant.
KJV
Keeping
the
Sabbath
is
a
sign
between
"Yehovah's
people", who are Yehovah's people?
Matthew 12:48
But he answered and said unto him that told him, Who is my mother? and
who are my brethren?
Mat thew12:49
And he stretched forth his hand toward his disciples, and said, Behold
my mother and my brethren
Matthew 12:50
For whosoever shall do the
will of my Father which is in heaven, the same is my brother, and sister, and
mother.
Those who do the will of the
Heavenly Father are His people.
That means the gentiles, has well has the Hebrew Israelites because...
John 10:16 And other sheep I have, which are not
of this fold: them also I must bring, and they shall hear my
voice; and there shall be one fold, and one shepherd.
"throughout
your
generations",
and
"throughout
their
generations",
and
"perpetual"
This
means forever, and not just for the children of Israel but for all of
the children of Yehovah!
This
means for the Children of Yehovah which is also to the Gentiles that
have been grafted in, and are now the Children of Yehovah!
EVERYTING
IS
FIRST
TO
THE
JEWS/HEBREW
ISRAELITES
THEN TO THE GENTILES!
Romans 10:12 For there is no
difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Master over all
is rich unto all that call upon him.
KJV
This
verse
shows
that
we
are
all
one now.
John 10:16 And other sheep I have, which are not of this fold:
them also I must bring,
and
they
shall
hear
my
voice;
and there
shall
be one fold, and one
shepherd.
So you
can see now that there is one fold! So what is good for the Jews/Hebrew
Israelite's is good for the Gentiles. We are all grafted into one fold
now.
Hebrews 4:9 There remaineth
therefore a rest to the people of Elohim.
KJV
This
is one of those verses that is a little off in the KJV.
It
should say "Sabbath Rest" like some good translations
The
1611 does say in the right margin next to this verse "Or keeping of a
Sabbath"
rest
means "Sabbath Keeping" it is in the (Strong's Exhaustive Concordance)
4520
Many
translation read "Sabbath Rest" which is the correct translation of
this verse.
The
"Interlinear Bible by J.P. Green" proves this verse in Hebrews 4:9
should read "Sabbath Rest"
The
"Amplified Bible" from Zondervan also backs this up,
so
does the ASV, and the
"NASB
Key Word Study Bible"
Yeshua
Kept the Sabbath
Luke 4:16 So He
came to Nazareth, where He had been brought up. And as His custom was, He went into
the synagogue on the Sabbath day, and stood up to read.
Yehovah
himself
kept
the
Sabbath,
and
Yeshua
kept the Sabbath for an example
for us to follow.
So why
would anyone think that we are not to keep the Sabbath when Yehovah,
and Yeshua both kept the Sabbath?
Yeshua Performs 7 Miracles on 7
Sabbaths
1st Miracle
Matthew
12:10 And behold, there was a man who had a withered hand. And they
asked Him, saying, "Is
it
lawful
to
heal
on
the
Sabbath?"—that they might accuse Him.
Matthew 12:13 Then He said to the man, "Stretch out your hand." And he
stretched it out, and it was restored as whole as the other.
Matthew 12:14 Then the Pharisees went out and plotted against Him, how
they might destroy Him.
Matthew 12:15 But when Yeshua knew it, He withdrew from there. And
great multitudes followed Him, and He
healed
them
all.
Mark 3:2
So they watched Him closely, whether He would heal him on the Sabbath,
so that they might accuse Him.
Mark 3:3 And He said to the man who had
the withered hand, "Step forward."
Mark 3:4 Then He said to them, "Is
it
lawful
on
the
Sabbath
to
do good or to do evil, to save life
or to kill?" But they kept silent.
Mark 3:5
And when He had looked around at them with anger, being grieved by the
hardness of their hearts, He said to the man, "Stretch out your hand." And
he
stretched
it
out,
and
his
hand was restored as whole as the other.
Luke 6:6
Now it happened on
another
Sabbath, also, that He entered the synagogue and taught.
And a man was there whose right hand was withered.
Luke 6:7 So
the scribes and Pharisees watched Him closely, whether He would heal on
the Sabbath, that they might find an accusation against Him.
Luke 6:8 But He
knew their thoughts, and said to the man who had the withered hand,
"Arise and stand here." And he arose and stood.
Luke 6:9 Then
Yeshua said to them, "I will ask you one thing: Is it lawful on the
Sabbath to do good or to do evil, to save life or to destroy?"
Mark 3:9 So He
told His disciples that a small boat should be kept ready for Him
because of the multitude, lest they should crush Him.
Mark 3:10
For He
healed
many, so that as many as had afflictions pressed about
Him to touch Him.
2nd Miracle
Mark 1:21 Then they went into
Capernaum, and immediately on
the
Sabbath
He entered the synagogue and taught.
Mark 1:22 And they were astonished at
His teaching, for He taught them as one having authority, and not as
the scribes.
Mark 1:23 Now there was a man in
their synagogue with an unclean spirit. And he cried out,
Mark 1:24 saying, "Let us alone! What
have we to do with You, Yeshua of Nazareth? Did You come to destroy us?
I know who You are—the Holy One of God!"
Mark 1:25 But Yeshua rebuked him,
saying, "Be
quiet,
and
come
out
of
him!"
Mark 1:26 And when the unclean spirit
had convulsed him and cried out with a loud voice, he came out of him.
Mark 1:27 Then they were all amazed,
so that they questioned among themselves, saying, "What is this? What
new doctrine is this? For with authority He commands even the unclean
spirits, and they obey Him."
3rd Miracle
Mark 6:2 And when the
Sabbath
had
come, He began to teach in the synagogue. And many
hearing Him were astonished, saying, "Where did this Man get these
things? And what wisdom is this which is given to Him, that such mighty
works are performed by His hands!
Mark 6:3 Is not
this the carpenter, the son of Miriam, the brother of Jacob, and
Joseph, and of Judah, and Simon? and are not his sisters here with us?
And they were offended at him.
Mark 6:4 But
Yeshua said to them, "A prophet is not without honor except in his own
country, among his own relatives, and in his own house."
Mark 6:5 Now He
could do no mighty work there, except that He
laid
His
hands
on
a
few
sick people and healed them.
4th Miracle
Luke 14:1 Now it
happened, as He went into the house of one of the rulers of the
Pharisees to eat bread on
the
Sabbath, that they watched Him closely.
Luke 14:2 And behold, there was a
certain
man
before
Him
who
had
dropsy.
Luke 14:3 And Jesus, answering, spoke to the lawyers and Pharisees,
saying, "Is
it
lawful
to
heal
on
the
Sabbath?"
Luke 14:4 But they kept silent. And He
took
him
and
healed
him,
and
let him go.
5th Miracle
Luke
13:13 And He
laid
His
hands
on
her,
and
immediately she was made straight,
and glorified God.
Luke 13:14
But the ruler of the synagogue answered with indignation, because Yeshua had healed on the
Sabbath; and he said to the crowd, "There are six days on which
men ought to work; therefore
come
and
be
healed
on
them,
and not on the Sabbath day."
Luke 13:15
The Lord then answered him and said, "Hypocrite! Does not each one of
you on the Sabbath loose his ox or donkey from the stall, and lead it
away to water it?
Luke 13:16
So ought not this woman, being a daughter of Abraham, whom Satan has
bound—think of it—for eighteen years, be loosed from this bond on the
Sabbath?"
6th Miracle
John 5:9
And immediately the
man
was
made
well, took up his bed, and walked. And that
day
was
the
Sabbath.
7th Miracle
John 9:14 Now
it
was
a
Sabbath when Yeshua
made
the
clay
and
opened
his
eyes.
Paul
kept
the
Sabbath!
Acts 13:14 But when they departed
from Perga, they came to Antioch in Pisidia, went into the synagogue on the
sabbath day, and sat down.
Acts 13:27 For they that dwell at
Jerusalem, and their rulers, because they knew him not, nor yet the voices of the prophets which are
read every sabbath day, they have fulfilled them in condemning
him.
Acts 13:42 And when the Jews were
gone out of the synagogue, the
Gentiles
besought
that
these
words
might
be preached to them the next
sabbath.
Acts 13:44 And the next sabbath day came
almost the whole city together to hear the word of Yehovah.
Acts 15:21 For Moses of old time
hath in every city them that preach him, being read in the synagogues every
sabbath day.
Acts 16:13 And on that sabbath we went out of the
city by a river side, where prayer was wont to be made; and we
sat down, and spake unto the woman which resorted thither.
Acts 17:2 and Paul, as his custom was, went in
unto them, and for three
sabbath days reasoned with them from the Scriptures,
Acts 18:4 And he reasoned in the synagoue every
sabbath, and persuaded the Jews and the Greeks.
Acts 21:24
Take them and be purified with them, and pay their expenses so that
they may shave their heads, and that all may know that those things of
which they were informed concerning you are nothing, but that you yourself also walk
orderly and keep the law.
These
verses prove very well that Paul kept the Sabbath, and so did the early
Messianic/Christian Church/Assembly!
There
is
no
such
thing
has
a
two
different Sabbaths such as a Jewish Sabbath,
and a Christian Sabbath, there is only one sabbath. The seventh day
Sabbath, that Yehovah created for man to rest on.
Mark 2:27 And he said unto them, "The sabbath was made for man, and not
man for the sabbath:
KJV
This
verse shows that the Sabbath was created for man, and not vice versa.
Mark 2:28 Therefore the son of man is also Master of the sabbath.
"The Word
Of Yehovah" Bible.
This verse here shows that only
Yeshua is Master of the Sabbath, and no one else.
Genesis 2:2 And on the seventh day
Elohim ended his work which he had made; and he rested on the seventh
day from all his work which he had made.
Yehovah
rested on the Sabbath day as an example for us to follow!
By what right are we better than the
creator, that we do not need to follow his instruction/law?
Matthew 24:20 But
pray ye that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the sabbath day.
Why would Yeshua say this if the
sabbath was changed or was going to change? This is a statement that is
about the end times.
For
the
ones
that
say
that
Paul
changed the sabbath he has no authority to
do so! Neither did Yeshua, and Yehovah cannot change and go against His
own Word.
Yeshua
could
only
do
what
Yehovah
showed
Him to do, and say, and what was
written in the word The Old Covenant.
Yehovah or Yeshua would not, and could not change what was written.
So if neither one could change what was written, how could anyone else?
Here is why
Yehovah, Yeshua, and The Scriptures do not change...
Malachi 3:6
"For I am Yehovah, I do not
change; Therefore you are not consumed, O sons of Jacob.
Hebrews
13:8 Yeshua Messiah is
the same yesterday, today, and forever
John 10:30 I and My Father are one."
John 1:14
And the Word became flesh
and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only
begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.
The
Father Son, and the Word are the same, and they do NOT change!
No
one
has
the
authority
to
change
or alter Yehovah's Word!
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
5. Honor
thy father and thy mother, that thy days may be long in the land which
Yehovah thy Elohim giveth thee.
Love,
Honor, and respect your parents
Regard
(treat with honor, due obedience, and courtesy) your father and mother,
that your days may be long in the land Yehovah your Elohim gives
you.
"Amplified
Bible
by
Zondervan"
Ephesians
6:2 "HONOR YOUR FATHER AND MOTHER," which is the first commandment with
promise:
This
verse mean that is you honor your parents your days will be prolonged
in the land where you reside in.
Disobeying
parents
in
Biblical
times
was
a
major offense that led to being put to
death. Even Yeshua reiterated this in Matthew 15:4, and
Mark 7:10
Matthew
15:4
For God commanded, saying, 'HONOR
YOUR FATHER AND YOUR MOTHER'; and, 'HE WHO CURSES FATHER OR MOTHER, LET
HIM BE PUT TO DEATH.'
Mark 7:10 For Moses said, 'HONOR YOUR FATHER AND
YOUR MOTHER'; and, 'HE WHO CURSES FATHER OR MOTHER, LET HIM BE PUT TO
DEATH.'
Just
because we are not in Biblical times, and in a different Country, does
not excuse us from punishment. Chances are a disobedient child won't be
put to death in most Countries, however we cannot escape the law of
reciprocity. What goes around comes around you reap what you sow.
Please not that in the 1611 KJV, and the 1769 KJV both spell honor like
this "Honour"
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
6. Thou
shalt not Murder.
The
1611 KJV, and the 1769 KJV has this verse is WRONG in these two
versions it says
"Thou
shalt not kill"
This
is WRONG!
NKJV
is the only KJV that has it correct, and all other translations says
"Thou shalt not Murder"
This
is the correct way that it should read.
The
"Interlinear Bible by J.P. Green"backs this up, proving that it should
read "Thou shalt not murder"
The
"Amplified Bible" from Zondervan also backs this up,
so
does the ASV, and the
"New
American Version Key Word Study Bible"
"Strongs
Exaustive
Concordance"in
the
Hebrew
section
#
7523
says
" murder"
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
7. Thou
shalt not commit adultery.
This
Commandment means do not have sex with ANYONE outside of Holy wedlock!
Only male, and Female can marry!
Most
people think just because they are not Married that they are free to
have sex with the person they are dating. This is NOT true at all.
PLEASE NOTE that gay marriages
will never be permitted by Yehovah Elohim!
Yehovah
created
marriage
for
Adam,
and
Eve,
NOT for Adam, and Steve, and
Yehovah did not create Marriage for Eve, and Eva either! Nowhere in the
Bible will you ever find that it is ok to be gay or that gay marriage
is ok!
It does not matter if all of the governments of the world say that it
is ok for gays to marry, because Yehovah ELOHIM WILL NEVER EVER ACCEPT
GAY MARRIAGE! It would be, and is a grave
sin
for all of the governments to accept this kind of sin!
The
other reason for this Command is for the sake of oneness just like man,
and woman become one flesh when they are Married.
Just
has the Bride of Messiah shall become one with him, and just has Yeshua
is one with his Father.
It is
also to show Messiah being faithful to his the Bride also known as the
Body of Messiah which is the Assembly (Church).
This
is an example of faithfulness for us to follow.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
8. Thou
shalt not steal.
This
is a pretty simple verse do not take what is not yours without
permission.
This
seems very simple, so you may ask why if it does not hurt anyone?
For
one thing Yehovah is a just Elohim, and he does not want anyone
to take something that does not belong to another. It is just not right.
Yeshua
said no one can pluck the people out of Yehovah's hand!
John 10:29 My Father, which gave them me, is
greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's
hand.
No one
can take from Yehovah!
Yehovah
does
not
like
it
when
people
take what is not earned. He does not like
it when people try to take his glory away from his people, and that is
stealing also it is his basic principle of his, because EVERYTHING
belongs to Yehovah Elohim!
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
9. Thou shalt not bear false
witness against thy neighbor.
Do not
accuse anyone falsely.
Another
very
simple
verse
do
not
lie
about
anything. The reason is simple, to
deceive someone. That is to do just what the Devil has done to this
world mislead, and ultimately bring death.
Exodus 23:1 THOU SHALT not raise a
false report: put not thine hand with the wicked to be an unrighteous
witness.
A lie
will make a person unrighteous, because it is wicked, and deceitful.
Proverbs
19:9
A
false
witness
shall
not
be unpunished, and he that speaketh lies
shall perish.
A
person who lies shall not go unpunished.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
10. Thou
shalt not covet thy neighbor's house, thou shalt not covet thy
neighbor's wife, nor his man-servant, nor his maid-servant, nor his ox,
nor his ass, nor anything that is thy neighbor's.
Do not
covet or desire anything that belongs to anyone else.
What
does Covet mean?
From The
Strong's Exhaustive Concordance
Hebrew word
chemed khew-mad
to delight in desire
{11} covet {4} delight {2}
pleasant {1} beauty {1} lust {1} delectable things {1}
Do not lust or delight in things that
are not ours, because Yehovah dose not give or Bless each man the same.
Desiring
other
peoples
stuff
often
leads
to
sinful behavior such as wanting to
steel someone else's stuff.
Furthermore it is being ungrateful for the things that we have, and
often times, overlook the things that we do have.
Conclusion!
Romans 10:12 For there is no difference between the
Jew and the Greek: for the same Master over all is rich unto all
that call upon him.
KJV
REMEMBER
EVERYTHING
IS
FIRST
TO
THE
JEWS/HEBREW
ISRAELITES
THEN TO THE GENTILES!
John 10:16 And other sheep I have, which are not
of this fold: them
also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice; and there shall be one fold, and one
shepherd.
This
verse here prove s what Romans 10:12 is speaking of, and that now there
is one fold or one race of people or one following with one shepherd or
even one Religion.
We are
one fold or one body of Messiah!
Acts 24:14 But this I confess unto
thee, that after the way which they call heressy, so worship I the Elohim of my
fathers, believing all things which are written in the law and in the
prophets:
Acts 25:8 While he answered for
himself, Neither against the law of the Jews, neither against the
temple, nor yet against Caesar, have I offended any thing at all.
Clearly
Paul
still
believed
in
the
entire
"Old
Covenant" "the Law" and "the prophets"
Paul
did not offend the law! Paul did not offend anyone's law.
1 Corinthians
9:21 to those who are without law, as without law (not being without
law toward Elohim, but under law toward Messiah), that I might
win those who are without law;
We are
under the law to Messiah...
Matthew
10:38 And he who does not take his cross and
follow after Me is not worthy of Me.
We
are
to
follow
Yeshua!
We
are
to obey, and follow what Yeshua had
done! Yeshua never disregard the moral law.
1 John 2:6 He that saith he abideth in him ought
himself also so to walk, even as he walked.
1 John 2:3 And hereby we do know
that we know him, if we keep His commandments.
4 He that
saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the
truth is not in him.
1 John 2:7 Brethern, I write no new
commandment unto you, but an old commandment which ye had from the
beginning. The old commandment is the word which ye have heard from the
beginning.
These
verses really prove that the the commandments should still be kept. "an
old commandment from the beginning "really says it all.
These verse
show that Yehovah's Commandments and the Faith of Yeshua go hand in
hand!
Revelation 12:17 And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to
make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of
Elohim, and have the testimony of Yeshua Messiah.
Revelation 14:12 Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the
commandments of Elohim, and the faith of Yeshua.
Revelation 22:14 Blessed are
they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the
tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.
Revelation 20:13 And the sea gave up
the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead
which were in them: and they
were judged every man according to their works.
KJV
Note
"according to their works"
Revelation 22:12 And, behold, I come
quickly; and my reword is with me, to give every man according as his
work shall be.
Note
"according as his work" we are judged by what we do!
We are
judged by our works, we are not saved by our works. Even though we are
saved by our faith we are judged by our actions.
Our actions are keeping the Commandments
of
Yehovah,
and bearing
good fruit reaching out to people
Galatians6:10
As
we
have
therefore
opportunity,
let
us do good unto all men,
especially unto them who are
of the household of faith.
Faith
without works it dead...
James
2:26
For
as
the
body
without
the
spirit is dead, so
faith without works is dead
also.
Revelation 22:14 Blessed are they that do his
commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may
enter in through the gates into the city.
Yeshua
is saying that whoever" that does his commandments" Yeshua is speaking
of Yehovah's Commandments.
Revelation 21:8 But the fearful, and
unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and
sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the
lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.
KJV
"Revelation 21:8"
covers the Ten Commandments, and all
offenses to the Law as well. They are summarized, and written a little
differently, but they are still the Ten Commandments!
Revelation 22:15 For without are dogs, and sorcerers,
and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth
and maketh a lie.
This
verse covers the Ten Commandments has well!
What is Sin?
1 John 3:4 Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth
also
the
law: for sin is the transgression of the law.
KJV
This clearly says that
we NEED to walk just has Christ did! Blameless, and we cannot be
blameless if we are in Sin can we? We can't be in Sin if there is no
law, can we?
You
can't have sin if there is no law to transgress against, and if there
is no law then there is sin, and then we have no need of redemption.
So has
you can clearly see now we are judged by the Law! Sin is a
transgression of the law!
Yeshua
kept the Sabbath, and so did Paul, and the early Church, but the main
stream Christian Church wants to hold fast to false teachings, such as
there is no law. IF there is no Law then by what means are we judged
by? Further more IF there is no Law we are right with Yehovah without
repentance, and that would mean that we are not in a state of sin.
We are
judged by what we have done.
We cannot
expect to be Blessed if we are living in sin. We must always remember
that sin a transgression of the
law!
Those
who
are
without
Yeshua
have to enter the covenant only through the
shedding of Yeshua's blood.
Then they have to be willing to follow the commandments.
This is how to keep in good standing and not sin against the Father.
Remember we are judged by what we do and not about how much faith we
have.
Faith saves us. The commandments keep us on the right side or in good
standing with The Heavenly Father.
The commandments are for everyone who believes and truly follows Yeshua!
