Deity of Messiah

This is a very important topic, some people do not believe in the deity of Messiah, With this said teaching we pray that everyone will get clear understanding of the Scriptures, and guide them to a deeper truth of who Yehovah really is!

First we need to understand what the word deity mean
"divine character or nature, esp. that of the Supreme Being; divinity".

Matthew 1:23 Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is,
El with us.

"EL with us" Which means literally "Mighty One With Us"

This is a very important verse to realize anytime you see the title "EL" it means "Mighty One" "El with us"
Clearly you can see Yehovah has come in the flesh!

2 Corinthians 5:19 namely, that Elohim was in Messiah reconciling the world to Himself, not counting their trespasses against them, and He has committed to us the word of reconciliation.
NASB

Yehovah is reconciling the world unto himself! Why because he created it. This world, and everything in it is his. Everything in the universe is his, and has been created by him.

Proverbs 8:22 Yehovah possessed me in the beginning of his way, before his works of old.
Proverbs 8:23 I was set up from everlasting, from the beginning, or ever the earth was.
Proverbs 8:24 When there were no depths, I was brought forth; when there were no fountains abounding with water.
Proverbs 8:25 Before the mountains were settled, before the hills was I brought forth:
Proverbs 8:26 While as yet he had not made the earth, nor the fields, nor the highest part of the dust of the world.
Proverbs 8:27 When he prepared the heavens, I was there: when he set a compass upon the face of the depth:
Proverbs 8:28 When he established the clouds above: when he strengthened the fountains of the deep:
Proverbs 8:29 When he gave to the sea his decree, that the waters should not pass his commandment: when he appointed the foundations of the earth:
Proverbs 8:30 Then I was by him, as one brought up with him: and I was daily his delight, rejoicing always before him;

John 8:58
Yeshua said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I am.

Yeshua was before Abraham, and take special notice to "I am" this is what Yehovah said unto Moses (Moshe) in the Torah. This is a major clue that Yeshua keeps reiterating.
"I am" is part of his name attribute which also helps prove the deity of Messiah, because these name attributes show that he is much more than a man, and much more than just a prophet.

John 10:30 I and my Father are one.

Notice Yeshua says "I, and my Father are one"
The Father lives in the Son, and the Son lives in the Father

John 14:10 Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works.

Matthew 28:18 And Yeshua came and spoke to them, saying, "All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth.
All authority has been giving onto Messiah. That kind of authority just isn't handed over to just anyone. No mortal man can be giving that kind of authority.

Mark 2:4 And when they could not come nigh unto him for the press, they uncovered the roof where he was: and when they had broken it up, they let down the bed wherein the sick of the palsy lay.
Mark 2:5 When Yeshua saw their faith, he said unto the sick of the palsy, Son, thy sins be forgiven thee.
Mark 2:6 But there were certain of the scribes sitting there, and reasoning in their hearts,
Mark 2:7 Why doth this man thus speak blasphemies? who can forgive sins but Elohim only?

Who can forgive SIN? Only Yehovah can forgive Sins, and Yeshua was clearly saying that he was Yehovah in the flesh.

Mark 2:8 And immediately when Yeshua perceived in his spirit that they so reasoned within themselves, he said unto them, Why reason ye these things in your hearts?
Mark 2:9 Whether is it easier to say to the sick of the palsy, Thy sins be forgiven thee; or to say, Arise, and take up thy bed, and walk?
Mark 2:10 But that ye may know that the Son of man hath power on earth to forgive sins, (he saith to the sick of the palsy,)
Mark 2:11 I say unto thee, Arise, and take up thy bed, and go thy way into thine house.
Mark 2:12 And immediately he arose, took up the bed, and went forth before them all; insomuch that they were all amazed, and glorified Elohim, saying, We never saw it on this fashion.

Matthew 7:22 Many will say to me in that day, Master, Master, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?
Matthew7:23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.
Yeshua is the one that will profess who is in and who is out.

Mark 2:23 And it came to pass, that he went through the corn fields on the sabbath day; and his disciples began, as they went, to pluck the ears of corn.
Mark 2:24 And the Pharisees said unto him, Behold, why do they on the sabbath day that which is not lawful?
Mark 2:25 And he said unto them, Have ye never read what David did, when he had need, and was an hungred, he, and they that were with him?
Mark 2:26 How he went into the house of Elohim in the days of Abiathar the high priest, and did eat the shewbread, which is not lawful to eat but for the priests, and gave also to them which were with him?
Mark 2:27 And he said unto them, The sabbath was made for man, and not man for the sabbath:
Mark 2:28 Therefore the Son of man is Master also of the sabbath.

Yeshua is the Master of the Sabbath. Who can be Master or in control of the Sabbath? Only the one who made the Sabbath? That would be Yehovah himself!

Matthew 12:8 For the Son of man is Master even of the Sabbath day.

Luke 6:5 And he said unto them, That the Son of man is Master also of the sabbath.

Mark 3:6 And the Pharisees went forth, and straightway took counsel with the Herodians against him, how they might destroy him.

They sought to destroy him here because he made himself to be Elohim.

John 20:28 And Thomas answered and said unto him, My Master and my Elohim.

Thomas understands at this very moment that Yeshua is his Master, and his Elohim. His Mighty One, and his Master

Revelation 1:
8
I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith Yehovah El, which is, and which was, and which is to come, Shaddai.

Take notice to saith "Yehovah El" El means "MIGHTY ONE" singular of Elohim. Shaddai means Almighty.

Revelation 1:11
Saying, I am Alpha and Omega, the first and the last: and, What thou seest, write in a book, and send it unto the seven churches which are in Asia; unto Ephesus, and unto Smyrna, and unto Pergamos, and unto Thyatira, and unto Sardis, and unto Philadelphia, and unto Laodicea.

The Heavenly Messiah is saying here very clearly that he is Yehovah!

Revelation 21:6 And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely.

John is repeating what the Heavenly Messiah said, that he is The Most High, Yehovah!

Revelation 21:7 He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his Elohim, and he shall be my son.

This verse not only proves the Oneness of Yehovah, it also proves that Yeshua is Yehovah!

Revelation 22:13
I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last.

Again Yeshua is reiterating that he is The Most High, Yehovah! The first, and the last, and the beginning, and the end says it all.
