Anything else is an abomination!

Genesis 2:24 Therefore a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and they shall become one flesh.

"a man" is singular for "one man" "his wife" is also singular for "one woman"

Matthew 19:5 and said, 'FOR THIS REASON A MAN SHALL LEAVE HIS FATHER AND MOTHER AND BE JOINED TO
 HIS WIFE AND THE TWO SHALL BECOME ONE FLESH' ?

Again the same thing "a man" is singular for "one man" "his wife" is also singular for "one woman" Marriage is only for one man and one woman.
The two shall be joined together, and function as one body one mind and one purpose, and goal.

1 Corinthians 6:16 Or do you not know that he who is joined to a harlot is one body with her? For "THE TWO," He says, "SHALL BECOME ONE FLESH."

You are who you marry. This is why it is very important that people know, and understand who they are going to marry.
Marriage is for life!
A man and a woman need to understand who they are before they get married. Looks are not enough.
Proverbs 6:25 Do not lust after her beauty in your heart, Nor let her allure you with her eyelids.
Proverbs 31:30 Charm is deceitful and beauty is passing, But a woman who fears the YEHOVAH, she shall be praised.
