Ephesians
5:23 For the husband is head of the wife, as also Messiah is head
of the Assembly; and He is the Savior of the body.
We
see that Yeshua is the head of the Assembly
Colossians 1:15 Who is the image of the
invisible Elohim, the firstborn of all creation:
Colossians 1:16 For by him were all things created, that are in
heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be
thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were
created by him, and for him:
Colossians 1:17 And he is before all things, and by him all things
consist.
Colossians 1:18 And he is the head of the body, the assembly:
who
is
the
beginning,
the firstborn from the dead; that in all things
he might have the preeminence.
John 10:9 I am the door. If
anyone enters by Me, he will be saved, and will go in and out and find
pasture.
John 10:10 The thief does not come except to
steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have
life, and that they may have it more abundantly.
John 10:11 "I am the good shepherd. The good
shepherd gives His life for the sheep.
John 10:12 But a hireling, he who is not the
shepherd, one who does not own the sheep, sees the wolf coming and
leaves the sheep and flees; and the wolf catches the sheep and scatters
them.
John 10:13 The hireling flees because he is a
hireling and does not care about the sheep.
John 10:14 I am the good shepherd; and I know My
sheep, and am known by My own.
John 10:15 As the Father knows Me, even so I know
the Father; and I lay down My life for the sheep.
John 10:16 And other sheep I have which are not of
this fold; them also I must bring, and they will hear My voice; and There will be one flock and one
shepherd.
John 10:17 "Therefore My Father loves Me, because
I lay down My life that I may take it again.
John 10:18 No one takes it from Me, but I lay it
down of Myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take
it again. This command I have received from My Father."
How Ministers are Appointed?
Pastor Deacons
Qualifications for Bishops Pastors
Deacons
1 Timothy 3:1
This is a faithful saying: If a man desires the position of a bishop,
he desires a good work.
1 Timothy 3:2 A
bishop then must be blameless, the husband of one wife, temperate,
sober-minded, of good behavior, hospitable, able to teach;
1 Timothy 3:3 not
given to wine, not violent, not greedy for money, but gentle, not
quarrelsome, not covetous;
1 Timothy 3:4 one
who rules his own house well, having his children in submission with
all reverence
1 Timothy 3:5
(for if a man does not know how to rule his own house, how will he take
care of the Assembly of Elohim?);
1 Timothy 3:6 not
a novice, lest being puffed up with pride he fall into the same
condemnation as the devil.
1 Timothy 3:7
Moreover he must have a good testimony among those who are outside,
lest he fall into reproach and the snare of the devil.
1 Timothy 3:8
Likewise deacons must be reverent, not double-tongued, not given to
much wine, not greedy for money,
1 Timothy 3:9
holding the mystery of the faith with a pure conscience.
1 Timothy 3:10
But let these also first be tested; then let them serve as deacons,
being found blameless.
1 Timothy 3:11
Likewise, their wives must be reverent, not slanderers, temperate,
faithful in all things.
1 Timothy 3:12
Let deacons be the husbands of one wife, ruling their children and
their own houses well.
1 Timothy 3:13
For those who have served well as deacons obtain for themselves a good
standing and great boldness in the faith which is in Messiah Yeshua.
1 Timothy 3:14
These things I write to you, though I hope to come to you shortly;
1 Timothy 3:15
but if I am delayed, I write so that you may know how you ought to
conduct yourself in the house of Elohim, which is the Assembly of the
living Elohim, the pillar and ground of the truth.
1 Timothy 3:16 And without
controversy great is the mystery of holiness: He was manifested in the
flesh, Justified in the Spirit, Seen by angels, Preached among the
Gentiles, Believed on in the world, Received up in glory.
Colossians 1:23
if indeed you continue in the faith, grounded and steadfast, and are
not moved away from the hope of the gospel which you heard, which was
preached to every creature under heaven, of which I,
Paul,
became
a
minister.
Titus 1:1 Paul,
a
bondservant
of
Elohim
and an apostle of Yeshua Messiah, according to the
faith of Elohim's elect and the acknowledgment of the truth which
accords with holiness,
Titus 1:2 in hope of
eternal life which Elohim, who cannot lie, promised before time began,
Titus 1:3 but has in due
time manifested His word through preaching, which was committed to me
according to the commandment of Elohim our Savior;
Titus 1:4 To Titus, a true
son in our common faith: Grace, mercy, and peace from Yehovah the
Father and the Master Yeshua Messiah our Savior.
Titus 1:5 For this reason I
left you in Crete, that you
should
set
in
order
the things that are lacking, and appoint
elders
in
every
city
as I commanded you—
Titus1:6 if a man is
blameless, the husband of one wife, having faithful children not
accused of dissipation or insubordination.
Titus 1:7 For a
bishop
must
be
blameless,
as a steward of Yehovah, not
self-willed,
not
quick-tempered,
not
given to wine, not violent, not
greedy for money,
Titus 1:8 but hospitable,
a
lover
of
what
is good, sober-minded, just, holy, self-controlled,
Titus 1:9 holding fast the
faithful word as he has been taught, that he may be able, by sound
doctrine, both to exhort and convict those who contradict.
Titus 1:10 For there are
many insubordinate, both idle talkers and deceivers, especially those
of the circumcision,
Titus1:11 whose mouths must
be stopped, who subvert whole households, teaching things which they
ought not, for the sake of dishonest gain.
Titus 1:12 One of them, a
prophet of their own, said, "Cretans are always liars, evil beasts,
lazy gluttons."
Titus1:13 This testimony is
true. Therefore rebuke them sharply, that they may be sound in the
faith,
Titus 1:14 not giving heed
to Jewish fables and commandments of men who turn from the truth.
Titus1:15 To the pure all
things are pure, but to those who are defiled and unbelieving nothing
is pure; but even their mind and conscience are defiled.
Titus1:16 They
profess
to
know
Yehovah,
but in works they deny Him, being abominable,
disobedient, and disqualified for every good work.
Titus 2:1 But speak thou
the things which become sound doctrine:
Titus 2:2 That the aged men
be sober, grave, temperate, sound in faith, in charity, in patience.
Titus 2:3 The aged
women
likewise,
that they be in
behavior as becometh holiness, not false accusers, not given to much
wine, teachers of good things;
Titus 2:4 That
they
may
teach
the
young women to be sober, to love their husbands, to
love their children,
Titus 2:5 To
be
discreet,
chaste,
keepers
at home, good, obedient to their own
husbands, that the word of Elohim be not blasphemed.
Titus 2:6 Young men
likewise exhort to be sober minded.
Titus 2:7 In all things
showing thyself a pattern of good works: in doctrine showing
uncorruptness, gravity, sincerity,
Titus2:8 Sound speech, that
cannot be condemned; that he that is of the contrary part may be
ashamed, having no evil thing to say of you.
Titus 2:9 Exhort servants
to be obedient unto their own masters, and to please them well in all
things; not answering again;
Titus 2:10 Not purloining,
but showing all good fidelity; that they may adorn the doctrine of
Yehovah our Savior in all things.
Titus 2:11 For the grace of
Elohim that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men,
Titus 2:12 Teaching us
that, denying unholiness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly,
righteously, and reverently, in this present world;
Titus 2:13 Looking for that
blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great Elohim and our
Savior Yeshua Messiah;
Titus 2:14 Who
gave
himself
for
us,
that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and
purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.
Titus 2:15
These things speak, and exhort, and rebuke with all authority. Let no
man despise thee.
Ephesians 4:11 And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers,
1 Corinthians
12:28 And Elohim has appointed these in the Assembly: first apostles,
second prophets, third teachers, after that miracles, then gifts of
healings, helps, administrations, varieties of tongues.
1
Corinthians 12:29 Are all apostles? Are all prophets? Are all teachers?
Are all workers of miracles?
Take
notice
that
there
is
no hundreds of thousands of dollars commanded to
be poured out to be trained to become a Minister. This was up to
family, as well as the local flock to teach and train one another.
Any competent worshiper can be invited to bring a sermon to share this
was a very common praise in the Synagogues back when Yeshua was on the
earth. Yeshua and His followers all visited many different Synagogues to
teach.
How Treasures are Appointed?
Acts 6:3
Therefore, brethren, seek
out from among you seven
men
of
good
reputation, full of the Holy Spirit and wisdom, whom we may appoint over this
business;
Acts 6:3 Therefore, brethren, seek
out from among you seven men of good reputation, full of the Holy
Spirit and wisdom, whom we may appoint over this business;
Acts 26:10
This I also did in Jerusalem, and many of the saints I shut up in
prison, having received authority from the chief priests; and when they
were put to death, I
cast
my
vote
against them.
Notice
that
the
word
membership
never comes up in the Scriptures! Churches
make this rule about membership because they are submissive to the
government so they can keep their 501 c3 status. Furthermore they use
the rule needing to be a member to vote on church policies so they can
increase there membership. In the Scriptures people were appointed
based on gifts, and they often drew lots. Such as the case was in
Acts 1:26 And they gave forth their lots; and
the lot fell upon Matthiah; and he was numbered with the eleven
apostles.
Accountable to who?
1 Peter 5:5
Likewise you younger people, submit yourselves to your elders. Yes, all
of
you
be
submissive
to one another, and be clothed with
humility, for "Elohim RESISTS THE PROUD, BUT GIVES GRACE TO THE
HUMBLE."
As Believers
we all need to submit to one another.
"elder"
Greek 4245
πρεσβύτερος
presbuteros
pres-boo'-ter-os
Comparative of πρέσβυς presbus
(elderly); older; as noun, a senior; specifically an
Israelite Sanhedrist (also figuratively, member of the celestial
council) or Messiahian “presbyter”: - elder
(-est), old.
Hebrews
13:17 Obey your leaders and
submit to them, for they keep watch over your souls as those who
will give an account. Let them do this with joy and not with grief, for
this would be unprofitable for you.
NASB
We are to submit,
and obey everyone unless it or a person in Authority is against Word of
Yehovah! Either living in Sin or just being a heathen or even a false
teacher. In those cases we are excused from following them, because it
would lead us away from The Heavenly Father.
This verse
is normally taken to mean that we need to bow yield, and kneel to the
minister, and this is simply taken out of context misunderstood, and so
that a minister can lord over a Church and have the people do whatever
he wants. When it should be the minister that is doing the serving.
Because minister means servant.
"rule"
Greek 2233
ἡγέομαι
hēgeomai
hayg-eh'-om-ahee
Middle voice of a (presumed)
strengthened form of G71; to
lead,
that
is,
command (with
official
authority);
figuratively to deem, that is, consider: - account, (be) chief, count, esteem, governor, judge, have
the
rule
over, suppose, think.
This
is
Yehovah's
perfect
structure.
It is about obedience to mind our
peers, and to take heed to what they say. For our peers or elders have
more experience, and offer wisdom.
We need to submit to each other for
accountability's sake. By doing so we are obedient to Yehovah because
we heeding His Holy Word.
1
Peter 5:6 Therefore humble
yourselves under the mighty hand of Elohim, that He may exalt
you in due time,
Follow
Yehovah's
Word,
and
you
can't go wrong!
Romans 14:12
So then each one of us
will give an account
of himself to Elohim.
NASB
Hebrew 4:13 And there is no creature
hidden from His sight, but all things are naked and open to the eyes of
Him to whom we must give
account.
NKJV
All must give an account!
The
Foundation of our Faith is predicated on the Scriptures. The Serving /
Teaching other, and each other. The the head is Messiah
1. The
Foundation is The Scriptures
2. Serving Others while being accountable to other believers
3. Giving heed to all authority unless it is Non-Biblical
4.The head of all authority is
Yeshua!
Anything other than this is man made madness!
